The 6th of May was a lovely day for showing, a bit chilly in the morning but soon the sun was beaming rays of gold.
We only took two cats this time; Ieru and Zolushka. They did so well.
Zolushka made all the judges smile by making biscuits before being placed on the judging table, she also drooled while being judged, a good sign that she was happy.
The show was in Pretoria so we had quite a long drive through, of course, Zolushka doesn't want to be in the carrier for the whole hour's drive. She wondered in the car, either resting on top of Ieru's cage, the carriers, her carrier or on my lap. It was lovely taking her. She made biscuits all the way there, I was glad about that but my bladder had a different opinion :D
She is still a kitten so did not get any awards but impressed all the judges. Zolushka was also in the line up for best medium hair kitten.
Ieru is such a gorgeous boy, he loves the shows and looks like he was born in the show ring. Somehow he has no legs at the show though :D when you place him on the show table he just flops and purrs while batting his eyes at the judge. The judges love judging him though. he is only 10 months but is already impressive and cannot wait to see how he matures. Ieru also got lots of love at the show as people stopped by to take a look and have a chat, others lucky to get a quick snuggle.
Ieru was in the line up for best medium hair adult and received three Grand Certificates on the day. I'm so proud of him.
Overall, it was a busy day but such a lovely day. I learned a lot and chatted with some good cat crazy friends.
After the long trip home our babies had some food and soon went to bed, a busy day yet so worth it.
Watch this space and see what we are up to next!
Ieru, Ubiquiti, and Sahsa will be attending the Cat Fanciers Club show on the 20 May 2017.
